Participants will learn about issues related to urban trees including power line conflicts and the Urban Forestry Administration Reorganization Act. While we will be focusing on how to be an advocate for the District’s trees, residents from outside of Washington will be able to benefit from learning about the challenges of managing an urban forest. This is a Citizen Forester qualifying course.
